Hi! I just joined on the recommendation of eighthcloud and thought I would cross-post this recipe. My mother has made these cookies for as long as I can remember, and they're my absolute favorite!

I found this recipe on FabulousFoods.com, and first made it to use up left-over egg whites (it's a great companion recipe to my Blackberry Icecream recipe for this reason - just double up the other ingredients). The prunes (which replace the butter or oil usually used in brownies) really enhance the chocolate flavour.

Eat by itself, or with vanilla icecream. Yum!

This is a really easy recipe. We usually make fries or tater tots to go with it. And it tastes great...it really beats canned sloppy joes, and it's probably better for you. I've never served it to kids, but I bet it'd be something they'd really like.

This recipe comes from the magazine Taste of Home's: Light & Tasty and was submitted by a lady named Jill Zosel who is from Seattle, Washington. I hope it's okay that I posted this from there! Dana, if it's not, just let me know and I'll take the post down :)
